For part of my summer work, I am submitting selected poems written over the course of my last high school summer. They were each inspired by events that unfolded over the 2014-2015 school year, and have given me ideas for future drawings, poses, and writing. Each one is personal, heartfelt, and are designed to be performed in front of an audience.
To be honest, this was thrown in as a last-ditch effort for summer work. While I did manage to complete two drawings for summer work, I procrastinated in the beginning of our break and was swamped towards the end, leaving me with a limited window of time to finish the last two works (my first work was finished in July). However, I have decided to submit my two summer drawings, along with the previous word-drawings, and a two-three more that I will complete in September, October, and November, into Scholastics as a portfolio.
