This is the first time in a year (or more) that I have seriously looked at this website; to be honest, I hated it in high school. I didn't see it's functionality and viewed as a waste of time. However, I am glad that it was conceived. Though it took some kicking and screaming, I now have a place to store the occasional poems that come to my clutter, undergraduate mind and the art that I ceased creating when I left Deep Run. Looking back at this site after a year of college, I see the possibility of potential. But what do I know? I'm still jet lagged and exhausted from spending the last month in Florence.
With that in mind, I've decided to use this blog section of my website (which no one is looking at anyways hahaha, except for those 81 original visitors this week (thank you!!)) to record my random thoughts. Julie Powell did it and it launched her into the stratosphere as a household name. In a parallel universe, this could be my way of finally becoming a professional poet. I wonder if I would be the first kinesiology major to do so? I guess I can find out!
To anyone that is reading, thank you for taking the time to pursue those random, disjointed thoughts. I'm not sure where this blog or this website will go, but it's all about the journey, not the destination. Right?
